The World Cup in the spectacular High Tatras is getting closer! 🔥🇸🇰

Before hundreds of Nordic Walking athletes stand on the start line, we want to introduce the people responsible for one of the most important elements of every international competition – FAIR, PROFESSIONAL AND OBJECTIVE JUDGING. 👨‍⚖️🌍

This year, an experienced international team of judges from several countries will take care of the correct Nordic Walking technique and fair competition! 🥢💚

🕔 17:00–21:00 – Race Office open
🌍 18:00 – Ceremonial opening of the World Cup
🚩 Welcome of competitors and parade of national flags
⚖️ Official oath of the World Cup judges

🔥 SATURDAY – SEPTEMBER 19

📋 8:00–14:00 – Race Office open
🏆 09:00 – 20 km start | elevation gain: 602 m
🔥 10:00 – 10 km start | elevation gain: 301 m
🥢 11:00 – 5 km start | elevation gain: 150.5 m
📣 12:30 – announcement of results
🥇 13:00 – award ceremony for 5 km, 10 km & 20 km
🎯 15:00 – NORDIC WALKING BIATHLON!

And all of this in one of the most spectacular Nordic Walking locations in Europe – Štrbské Pleso in the heart of the High Tatras! 🏔️💚

🚗 IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION

Parking for competitors is available at the central parking lot until 10:00. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the start area.

🚌 Buses may drop competitors off at Hotel FIS, but must then park at the central parking lot in Štrbské Pleso.
