The following qualify for the individual finals of the World Championships over a distance of 5km (one of two conditions must be met):
– 5 best qualifying times in each age category for women and men
– 60 best times in women’s general classification and 60 best times in men’s general classification.

The following qualify for the individual finals of the World Championships over a distance of 10 km (one of two conditions must be met):
– 5 best qualifying times in each age category of women and men
– 60 best times in women’s general classification and 60 best times in men’s general classification.

– The competition takes place over a distance of 5 km, 10 km and 21 km.
– A team consists of competitors who have qualified for the championship finals (on thesecond day of the competition), in the maximum number of 3 women and 3 men competingat the distance of 5km; 2 women and 2 men at the distance of 10km and 1 man and 1woman competing at the distance of 21km.
– Competitors classified in a team are those, who at the time of registration for thecompetition have a history of at least 5 previous starts in other competitions under the nameof the registered team
– A player once registered to a given team cannot change his club- Entries of team members will be automatically taken from the results list, according to thebest times in age categories on the second day of competition
– team classification is based on the sum of net times of all competitors in the team
– Points for the team classification will be assigned according to the place in age categorieson the second day of competition

Family classification includes three results based on the place in the open classification forparticular distances – a child under 18 years of age and two guardians in any age category. By the word „guardian” is meant persons in the 0 or 1 age group, i.e. spouse, descendants(e.g. son, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren), ascendants (e.g. mother, father,grandparents), siblings, stepchildren, stepfather, stepmother, parents-in-law, son-in-law,daughter-in-law. More than three family members may be entered. Best places will becounted for the final score. Family members can compete on different distances
