⚠️ IMPORTANT CHANGE TO FRIDAY’S SCHEDULE!

You surprised us – in the best possible way! ❤️

So many of You have decided to compete in the European Championship 4 × 2 km Relays that, for Your safety and to provide the best possible racing conditions, we have decided to divide the relay competition into two starts.

Because of this change, the relay medal ceremony will NOT take place on Friday evening. Relay winners will be awarded on Saturday at 13:00, together with the 10 km and 20 km award ceremonies.

Please check the updated Friday schedule carefully!

📅 FRIDAY, 21 AUGUST – OPENING & RELAYS

16:00 – Athlete Accreditation Office opens
18:00 – Official Opening Ceremony
🌍 Welcome of national teams and Parade of Flags
⚖️ Oath of European Championship athletes and judges
🎭 Artistic programme

19:15 – Warm-up
19:30 – European Championship 4 × 2 km Relays: MIX 2+2, athletes with disabilities 2+2, family teams
20:45 – European Championship 4 × 2 km Relays: women’s and men’s teams
22:00 – End of relay competition

🏆 Relay medal ceremony: Saturday at 13:00!

09:00 – European Championship 42 km Race – women and men, age categories
09:15 – European Championship 4 × 10.5 km Relays: MIX, men’s and women’s teams
17:00 – Awards Ceremony: 42 km OPEN and age categories + 4 × 10.5 km Relays + team classification 🏆
18:00 – Official Closing Ceremony of the European Championships ❤️🌍

💧 WATER – REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR REUSABLE BOTTLE!

We want to make sure You stay properly hydrated throughout the Championships.

Water will be available from a water tanker, and additional 20-litre water containers will be placed around the event area. Disposable cups will also be provided.

However, we strongly encourage every athlete to bring their own reusable bottle or sports bidon. You will be able to refill it whenever You need and keep Your water with You for longer. 💧🌱
