The global crisis forced all the international projects to hit the pause button, that’s true, but because of that we have a great opportunity to develop new market for our Nordic Walking events and actions – both in micro and macro scale. At this moment Nordic Walking is the major physical activity in many countries and we can start on that basis.

Now we’d like to share some news. Marcin Szulc , president of Nordic Walking Poland, joined ONWF to became CEO and to be in charge of World Nordic Walking Cup. We trust that this cooperation will bring us great new perspective for Nordic Walking!

Marcin manages the leading NWPL organization in Poland, is the promotor of several dozen Nordic Walking competitions, including the first 2018 World Championships in Mosina, training hundreds of Nordic Walking instructors, referees and trainers annually, introducing innovative solutions and tools to support the work and development of NW Instructors and Referees. I strongly believe that many of these solutions will be able to be introduced on a global scale.

We also plan to expand ONWF's team of experts and invite the most dynamic leaders from other countries around the world to join us. We believe that by working together and with our commitment, we will set the pace for the development of NW in many countries and around the world.

Last year, despite the world pandemic, togheter with Marcin we worked hard and came up with promising plan for the future of Nordic Walking
