🌍 III World Nordic Walking Championship, Poland 2024- Course Routes and Event Village! 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

We're excited to share the course routes and event village map for the upcoming Nordic Walking World Championships, taking place in Bełchatów from August 23-25, 2024! 🌲

🏁 Race Courses: 5 km: Perfect for those just starting their Nordic Walking journey. The course record is held by Tomasz Marczak from Nordic Team Częstochowa (2022), with a time of 00:28:45, set during the 2nd Open Nordic Walking Championships in 2022. The fastest woman on this distance is Agnieszka Sosnowska from KABEX Podkowa Janów (2022), with a time of 00:31:21.

10 km: For more advanced participants. The course record is 01:00:00, held by Jacek Witucki from Klub Sportowy Victoria Potęgowo, set during the PGE Nordic Walking World Cup in 2023. Among the women, the fastest was Agnieszka Sosnowska, also from K.S. Victoria Potęgowo, with a time of 01:04:10.

21 km: A true challenge for the toughest competitors! The course record is 02:19:09, set by Daniel Romanowski from Katowicki Nordic Walking during the PGE Nordic Walking World Cup 2023. Among the women, Elżbieta Wojciechowska from Polipack Team GWE achieved the best time - 02:19:39, battling alongside Romanowski until the very last meters of the course!

🏟️ Event Village: In the event village, you’ll find everything you need to support participants and spectators! There will be an information point, a food zone, stalls with sports accessories, and a rest area with plenty of attractions for the little ones.
