Effects of a Flexibility and Relaxation Programme, Walking, and Nordic Walking on Parkinson's Disease

This study examines the effects of three physical activity programs—flexibility and relaxation exercises, walking, and Nordic walking—on patients with Parkinson’s disease. It evaluates improvements in gait, stride length, balance, motor symptoms (UPDRS), and health-related quality of life (PDQ-39). The results show that all interventions had benefits, with Nordic walking showing superior outcomes in postural stability and gait quality.
