NORDIC WALKING AS AN ALTERNATIVE FORM OF PHYSICAL RECREATION

 The aim of this study was to gather and present the respondents, the authors bothering issues pastime, which is Nordic Walking and how often they undertake physical activity, and what is their priority in maintaining health.
The study was conducted on a group of people practicing Nordic walking in an organized manner and to the persons practicing individually. The entire population studied was diverse with regard to age, sex, place of residence and education. The questionnaire was distributed among forty-anonymous respondents.
The analysis of the vast majority of research respondents were middle-aged women. Nordic Walking is this form of physical activity that is addressed to a wide range of practitioners, diverse in terms of age and efficiency. Playing this sport has a significant impact on human health, on his mood, as well as the whole of everyday life. Participation in various forms of activity develops health and human performance is excellent in the development of interpersonal relationships, as well as an important element of the socio-cultural development of our civilization.
It can therefore be argued that the Nordic Walking trails often meet women between the ages of 31 - 50 years. The sport is most popular in major cities in environments with higher education, working creatively. Over 50% (51%) of Nordic Walking learned from friends and correctly associate the sport of walking with special poles (90%)
