Evaluation of the effect of 3-month Nordic Walking training on blood pressure in women over 60 years of age

Three-month Nordic Walking training significantly lowers SBP and DBP in women over 60. This effect is present in both normal BP and hypertensive subjects. Nordic Walking, due to its availability, may become an important element of non-pharmacological therapy of hypertension in female patients of retirement age.
