The beginnings of the global promotion of Nordic Walking by Marko Kantaneva - just "DO IT"A few words from Marko 🤩“I think it was in the spring of 2003 when we were doing Nordic Walking photo shoots on Lake Garda in Italy 🇮🇹 During the photo shoots, I felt we had to take a photo of me jumping a fallen tree with sticks in my hands. Number one in the photo shoot was against my idea. After the official photo shoot was over, I asked the photographer to take a photo of me taking this jump. He did. used most often and everywhere, e.g. at fairs, posters, in the press, etc. The lesson from this story is that when you go beyond all authorities, imagination, intuition - !! that's what you have to do !! - DO IT !! "💪

🏆 🥢 World Nordic Walking League 🏆 🥢- work on the next Nordic Walking 2023 season has moved forward strongly! 💪🏻🇫🇮 🇵🇱 🇮🇹 🇸🇰 🇹🇼 🇮🇪 🇺🇾 🇺🇦 🇰🇿 🇭🇺 🇮🇱 🇬🇪 🇲🇦 🇨🇿 🇮🇷 🇸🇮 🇫🇷 🇨🇭Ahead of us on November 5 is the conclusion of the first stage of consultations unifying the rules for the organization of competitions and judging rules with representatives of 18 countries around the world. The end of the work is scheduled for early January 2023. We are very happy that the unification of rules under the organized World Cup, initiated in 2019 by Marko Kantaneva, has gained such momentum! We present you with a proposal for the structure of the World Nordic Walking League competition and ranking, so that it will be possible to monitor your position among the best walkers in the world! For the moment we can tell you that Nordic Walking competition in the next year will involve many countries around the world, and the first coordinators in each country are already preparing a calendar of events for you.
