😍🔥 First ever Nordic Walking biomechanics study in Uruguay! 🥢

We are very happy to share an exceptional news! As part of the 18th 3DAHM International Symposium, the FIRST ever Nordic Walking biomechanics study was conducted in Uruguay! 🥳

A research team from the Núcleo de Investigación en Biomecánica at Hospital Clínicas, led by Darío Santos and Leonardo Peyré-Tartaruga of the University of Pavia (Italy), with the support of Caminata Nórdica Uruguay ONWF president, Carlos Ferreyra, made history! 📜🌍

The research took place at the state-of-the-art Biomechanical Engineering Center (NIB) at the University of the Republic (UDELAR). This is a groundbreaking step to better understand the benefits and opportunities that Nordic Walking brings to our bodies and health. 💪

We are now eagerly awaiting the official results of the study, which will bring us even closer to a scientific view of this wonderful activity!
