Today, we officially share one of the most important decisions in European Nordic Walking.

📍 Bełchatów, Poland
🗓 21–23 August 2026

Bełchatów has been chosen as the host city of the most important Nordic Walking event in Europe.

This prestigious title was awarded by the ONWF Board in recognition of the vast international experience of the Polish organizers, as well as the outstanding cooperation and exceptional hospitality provided over the years — first and foremost in partnership with the Marshal’s Office of the Łódź Voivodeship - Łódzkie dla Ciebie, the Bełchatów County - Powiat Bełchatowski, the City of Bełchatów - Miasto Bełchatów and the Bełchatów Municipality - Gmina Bełchatów - all of whom have consistently welcomed athletes from around the world with openness, commitment and genuine care. 🌍🤍

The Championships will be delivered in Bełchatów by Nordic Walking Poland together with the Klub Sportowy Nordic Walking Bełchatów, under the leadership of Krzysztof Marczak, and will take place at the well-known and proven venue of the Powiatowe Centrum Sportu w Bełchatowie - a location trusted by athletes and organizers alike from previous international events. 🤩

🏆 The defenders of the current European Champion titles will return to protect their crowns, while new challengers step onto the course ready to write their own story.

Many surprises await both athletes and spectators – special moments, unique experiences and emotions that go far beyond the finish line. Bring Your family, friends and loved ones and experience this celebration together.
