Juraj Mihelac is one of the most educated people in the world of Nordic walking, and he has been educated for years in several world organizations. He started Nordic walking in 2020, when he joined the INWA course for Nordic walking Leader, which he successfully passed in 2021. He soon progressed in INWA and reached the status of INWA national trainer and referee. He also bacame a member of the INWA competition committee and president of the CNWA competition committee. He started competing in 2022, when he founded the nordic walking club Spalatum, which he led to the status of the best and most trophy-winning Nordic walking club in Southeast Europe. He was also the leader of the CNWA Croatian national team in Nordic walking, with which he won more than 50 medals at three international INWA competitions. He is a multiple medalist himself in various Croatian and international championships and competitions, which makes him the biggest name in the (short) history of Croatian competitive Nordic walking. In 2025, he moved to the ONWF, where he underwent a whole system of various educations, and became an ONWF referee and Master trainer, thus acquiring the highest education in both federations. He is also known for working with „Caspera“ - Association of Women with Cancer for two years, with whom he had exceptional success in their rehabilitation, to the point that one of their members became a successful competitor. With this, he achieved success in all forms of Nordic walking, from rehabilitation to sports and education. Many years of holding various educations within his private practice, as well as beeing a health practicioner and sports enthusiast, place him in the circle of the most desirable Nordic walking educators.
