Nordic Walking as a form of activity for people of all ages

One of the main factors analysed in the survey was the gender of the Nordic Walking participants. The survey showed that a significant proportion of pole-walkers are women. Men, on the other hand, constitute only 30% of this group. After analysing all aspects connected with Nordic Walking, and above all after analysing the survey, one can clearly state that this young sport is one of the most versatile forms of recreational activity. What I mean here is not only its technique, which activates practically the whole organism (90% of the whole body muscles, has a positive impact on the skeletal, muscular, circulatory and respiratory systems), but also the fact that it is available to everyone - regardless of age, fitness or weight. Nordic Walking does not depend on the season of the year or the type of ground, it can be practised anytime and anywhere, and the only determinants of this are your own tastes and preferences. Depending on the pace of the walk, walking with poles is a perfect form of relaxation after a stressful day or a great way to improve physical condition. It all depends solely on our needs, which we want to satisfy through physical recreation. Nordic walking is also a very effective form of exercise rehabilitation for people with postural defects or joint injuries.
