Nordic Walking is one of the youngest forms of physical activity, which more and more people who want to spend their free time in a healthy and sporty way are interested in. Nordic Walking specialists claim that it is a universal sport: for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level and capacity. It can be practiced anywhere: whether in the mountains, on the beach or in city parks and forests, on natural ground or on asphalt sidewalks (thanks to the rubber ends of the poles). The intensity of the exercises everyone can freely regulate adjusting to their own current physical disposition and mood on a given day.Nordic Walking, unlike natural walking, “forces” to work almost 90% of human muscles, which through cyclic movement are systematically stretched and strengthened. Popularly known in Poland as “walking with sticks” is particularly recommended for adults and the elderly, elderly. The correct work of the arms supported and repelled from the ground by the poles protects and at the same time protects the person marching from stumbling or falling, to some extent also reduces the stress exerted on the knee joints, ankle joints, hip joints and spine when walking.
