Conclusions
1. for both NW and non-stick walking, the load on the heel does not significantly increase with increasing walking pace; the increase is greater for NW walking with sticks.
(2) When marching with poles, lower values of forces acting on the forefoot are observed when the corner limb is in the middle and final phase of rolling. As the walking pace increases, the time of foot contact with the ground is reduced when using the poles.
3 The results indicate the need for sports shoes with good heel cushioning for people using NW poles. This recommendation will be particularly important when walking at a fast pace.
