Conclusions
1. the differences in the daily time spent undertaking physical activity, of moderate to high intensity, between women practising gymnastics in combination with Nordic walking, and gymnastics alone or a combination of gymnastics and water activity, indicate that Nordic walking is the form that influenced the greater activity of the surveyed women in their daily life.
2. the lack of differences in functional fitness, with simultaneous differences in the age of the women surveyed practising gymnastics and a combination of gymnastics and water activity, may indicate that the forms mentioned influence the maintenance of functional fitness levels more than other forms of physical activity or water activity alone.
