Anatomy of the Musculoskeletal System

You will understand the structure of muscles, bones, and joints. You will learn how specific muscle groups work during Nordic Walking and how to effectively maintain proper muscle balance.


Physiology and Training Planning

You will discover the energy processes that occur in the body during physical effort. You will learn how to apply this knowledge to create safe, individualized, and highly effective training plans.


Training program

Basics of anatomy and physiology (structure and functions of muscles). Overview of all muscle groups involved in Nordic Walking. Physiology of physical effort (including the Krebs cycle). Analysis of energy systems in different phases of physical effort.

Exercises and training strategies dedicated to various muscle groups. Composing a comprehensive training program and individualizing the training.

Additional information

Upon successful completion of 5 selected training modules, participants will receive an NWPL TRAINER t-shirt and will be added to the official list of recommended NWPL Trainers. Participation is determined by the order of applications and a deposit payment of 200 PLN.
