Nordic walking as primary and secondary prevention of civilization diseases

Radical change of lifestyle, especially restriction of physical activity, irrational diet, increasingly frequent use of drugs such as alcohol and tobacco, are just a few negative aspects of civilization. The consequence of these “achievements of civilization” is, among other things, an increase in the incidence of non-communicable diseases, mainly related to lifestyle. This means that bypassing genetic factors, you can influence their formation.Lifestyle determines the health of a person as much as 50%. This concept emphasizes the role of man in the formation of health, and is therefore full of optimism, since lifestyles can be corrected in a health-promoting direction by eliminating harmful factors. Cardiovascular diseases, obesity, as well as osteoporosis are the most common diseases that plague society, which can be influenced by a healthy lifestyle. Nordic walking, or effective pushing off the ground with special poles, is a form of physical activity that combines all that is most important in promoting health and widely understood prevention.
